Legacy MAX-based primary key generation caused database concurrency and duplication risks.
THE SOLUTION
Migrated Carbon Tool permissions into centralized BES role management. Refactored 22+ tightly coupled legacy functions. Implemented role-based cost curve visibility and access controls. Built carbon duplication detection and visual indicators. Enhanced carbon data recalculation for cross-module consistency. Replaced legacy MAX-based key generation with scalable ID approach. Implemented unit testing across all enhancements.
